Tom’s technology career began in web development and progressed into leadership roles that required him to adapt and thrive with technological evolution. He spent more than a decade as the director of technology and chief technology officer for two high-growth ecommerce companies. 

Tom’s career is marked by high-impact results and improved efficiency.  He drove innovation and automation for an Inc. 5000 company as it grew from $7M to more than $65M over 11 years. He successfully managed six ecommerce site migrations that resulted in 20% income growth and reduced traffic drops. He designed and implemented a technology stack for a retail business that supported its 900% growth over three years. He has also led companies through seamless cloud migrations to achieve zero downtime, and implemented VOIP call systems that saved $100k annually and countless man-hours.

Tom is a proponent of servant leadership who believes in empowering people to succeed without fear of failure. He was a featured thought leader and keynote speaker at Netsuite’s SuiteWorld 2021 conference.

Tom approaches work-life balance by working hard and riding motorcycles when the sun is shining. He enjoys spending time with his family and working in his shed on various DIY projects.
